shopping list: target edition // june 27th, 2018

target is where i spend a considerable amount of my time. on my lunch breaks, after work, on saturday, just whenever i need to browse all of the best stuff. so i'm sharing what's on my list this week. you can click through the links to purchase for yourself, if my beautiful words convince you that you can't go any longer without these products. and please let me know your target faves in the comments!

yes to tomatoes face wipes

i really like the yes to products. they have several different lines - blueberries, cucumbers, coconut, etc etc etc. i love the tomato ones, and use these wipes every morning. i know people say face wipes are bad for you, but i do some pretty serious korean skin care each night and i'm a lazy bum in the mornings, so i just want a gentle wipe to get rid of the oil and give me a fresh start. i've used these for a couple of years now, and i don't think they can be beat for the price!

maybelline super stay matte ink

y'all. i am a chapstick kinda girl. mostly because lipstick doesn't stay on and its too much work to reapply and i have a lot of anxiety about it being uneven and/or all over my face. i'm super chill.

anywayyy, i'm always super jealous of people who rock those bold lip colors and i keep trying to find ones that work for me. so far, i haven't been impressed. the matte ones stay in place but are all super drying and make me feel like i need six layers of chapstick IMMEDIATELY.

that is, until this one. i honestly couldn't stop talking about it and also staring at myself in the mirror because it stayed on through two meals, did not budge, didn't feel dry at all, and is the perfect orangy-red (heroine is the actual color name) that i've been wanting to try for a while. THIS IS A MIRACLE PRODUCT PLEASE TRY IT RIGHT THIS MINUTE.

also, please see below for a small photo shoot of me wearing it after a meal and during a doodle attacking my face.

sharpie brush pens

i've mentioned that i am currently trying my hand at hand lettering (get it?) and i'm loving working with brush pens. i saw this package of sharpie's version on a random trip down the pen aisle, because i love the school supply section of any store, and they looked too good to pass up. i'll give an update on how i feel about them in a post coming soon about my hand lettering journey.

real techniques brush set

these makeup brushes are THE BEST, especially for the price. i honestly didn't even know they were available at target, because i've only seen them at ulta, but we all learn something new every day. i've been using the large orange one for foundation for a while now, and i now have the rest of the set for all of my makeup brushing needs.

blue dog bakery treats

its impossible to leave target without something for that doodle up there, and she loves these little cookies. to be fair though, she also loves eating cardboard and toilet paper so i'm not sure she has the most discerning of palates. but these seem good and they don't smell terrible so its a win for us all! i don't have a picture of these, but use your imagination!

what do you make special trips to target for?
